Latest Updates from Our Project:

US Fulfillment has begun!
7 months ago – Tue, Oct 07, 2025 at 10:52:10 AM

In this update I'll be covering: US fulfillment starting, how to deal with the tape and tape residue on Dice Clash, Canadian fulfillment, Local Pick Up updates, Cuse Con, Retro Game Con, and what's next.

US Fulfillment has begun!

The games have arrived!

US fulfillment is in full swing!  You should soon (or may already have) receive tracking information as the games get packed and sent out from Quartermaster Fulfillment.  Please, if you have any issues, questions, or needs related to fulfillment, damages, replacement requests, etc, fill out the webform here or email: [email protected] ..   You are, of course, more than welcome to reach out to me too, but it will probably be quicker to try them first.

I received a pallet load of games and accessories yesterday and I must say: everything looks gorgeous!  Hopefully you've been seeing the comments from backers who have already received the games and the quality you can expect.  There is one quality issue I am aware of that relates to Dice Clash specifically.

Dice Clash Tape Issue:

Because of some previous issues (that are no longer issues) with everything not fitting in the tin, Dice Clash is the only game that is shipping with tape keeping it shut.  It not only has that tape, but has some left over residue from the previous tape that had to be removed when the dice were exchanged.  This is annoying and I apologize.  It is fixable though!

Here's what I've found works best:

1) If the tape is not overlapping the graphics on the front or back cover: you should be able to remove it without an issue.

2) If the tape is overlapping graphics on the front and/or back:  Make sure the tape is warm before carefully removing it. This will help keep it from damaging the graphics when removed.  A hair dryer on a lowest setting can help.

3) Dealing with the residue: Use a regular tissue and just rub it off vigorously.  It takes a little bit of elbow grease, but it comes off and will look good as new.

Again, apologies for this.  From what I can see with the copies I received (123 of them) the tape overlapping the graphics is a rare issue.

Canadian Fulfillment:

All games have made it to the Bridge Distribution warehouse, have been checked in, orders imported, and shipping labels created.  They are estimating to start fulfillment on Friday.  You should start receiving shipping notifications soon. I really appreciate your patience as I navigated this.  In the future, I hope to work with a dedicated Canadian fulfillment hub, but will need enough backers in that region to justify it.

Local Pick Up:

I'm in conversations with Play the Game Read the Story in Syracuse and Millennium Games in Rochester to set up some dates.  I still don't have the "when" nailed down.  That said, if you are heading to RetroGameCon this weekend, you can pick them up from me at Booth T16.

I got my games, now what?

Play them!!  And hey, if you want to help me out, rate them on BGG (honest ratings are always welcomed and encouraged), post pictures on Instagram, talk about them in the Facebook Group or on the Galen's Games Discord, and convince your local retailer that they should carry them!   All help is appreciated.

The games all also have TTS (Tabletop Simulator) versions to play with friends online.  Some of these will also be the first place to see and test out upcoming expansion material!

Dice Clash TTS

Mint-Tin Monster Mash-Up TTS

Heritage Farms TTS

Verdant Arizona TTS

Cuse Con 2025

Table set up.  Unfortunately only demos of the Mint Tins available
That's an Order gets 2 thumbs up!
Designers Corey and Donnie take Kickabout for a spin
A game that you won't be able to get for about 2 years: Rettir.
Mint Mechs!!

Cuse Con 2025 was a blast!  This is an amazing local convention that had a pretty sizeable showing of big designers.  Lots of drooling and anticipation for the Mint Tins to show up, and great playtests and demos of the next batch of games slated for a February Kickstarter.

RetroGameCon:

This weekend, October 10th - 12th, I will be vending at RetroGameCon in Syracuse, NY.  If you're around, come visit me at Table T16!

That's it for now.  Have fun with those games that will be arriving soon!  We're finally here!

Thanks!
Galen

Quick October Update: You will have your games soon! Oh, Canada Part 2.
7 months ago – Wed, Oct 01, 2025 at 11:54:15 AM

I have limited time but I wanted to get some important info out to you quickly....

Games are at QML:

The games and accessories have all arrived at QML (Quartermaster Logistics), they've been counted in, I've approved the test pack, and we are moving forward with fulfillment!  What happens now?

1) In the next few days to a week you should be receiving an email from QML confirming your address.  This will be your final opportunity to update your address and shipping information.
2) In the next 2 weeks, maybe sooner: QML will start shipping out the games! Hooray!

Canada:

Long story short: my fulfillment estimate for you guys was kind of insane, so I shopped around a bit while waiting for the games to arrive.  I'm partnering with Bridge Distribution to fulfill Canadian orders.  QML will be shipping the games to them very soon (I currently see that the order is being worked on) and they say they will be able to start fulfillment right away upon receiving the games.  I appreciate your patience.

What to expect in the next update which I will do soon:

  • Local pick-up confirmation
  • Best way to deal with the adhesive on Dice Clash
  • How to handle any replacement and damage issues
  • Re-cap of CuseCon
  • Something important I'm sure I am forgetting right now.

Thanks everyone!!

Galen

September 2025 Update: Spiral Galaxy Fulfillment Commencing, US updates, Oh, Canada!, and more!
8 months ago – Wed, Sep 10, 2025 at 10:54:58 AM

TLDR: Spiral Galaxy ready to start fulfilling to all regions except US and Canada; US cargo nearly here; Canada switched to fulfilling from the US; Italian translations done; games probably won't be in time for CuseCon :(; public playtesting starting up for next wave.

Everyone except the US and Canada:

Since the last update, the dice replacements cleared Chinese customs, arrived at Spiral Galaxy, and were switched out for all copies of Dice Clash.  I paid my fulfillment deposit yesterday, and fulfillment is scheduled to commence!  You should soon be receiving an email to confirm your address from Spiral Galaxy.  If you have any issues, please reach out to: [email protected] to resolve any shipping issues you may encounter. I'm really excited for you to finally get your games!  Please post pictures and feel free to tag @galensgames in your socials!

Canada:

Apologies for the very last minute change, but I hope you will agree it was the right decision. When I initially made the decision to change Canadian fulfillment to Spiral Galaxy due to the tariffs, I missed that Spiral Galaxy is unable to do Customs-Friendly shipments to Canada. Since, a) I promised this as part of the campaign, and b) I've already collected this tax from you for this purpose, I am switching your fulfillment over to Quartermaster Logistics who is handling US fulfillment.  They are able to  to do Custom-Friendly delivery to Canada, so you won't have to deal with that hassle.

US and Canada:

The ship with the container of our games is due in NY harbor tomorrow, September 11th.  From there, the cargo is slated to be available for transport on September 14th.  It will then get transported to Quartermaster Logistics in Orlando, Florida.  The estimate for that arrival is 9/16-9/18.  They will have to get it loaded in and sorted before fulfillment begins, but they are expecting the shipment and ready to get working on it.  Once it has safely arrived, I will be able to give a more exact estimate of when fulfillment will commence.  We are so close!

Italian Translations:

A massive thank you and round of applause for Matteo Pavese for his voluntary translation of the game rulebooks, reference cards, and card text into Italian for all 4 of the Mint Tin Games! You can find them, along with the French translations, here.

Other Languages:

Currently the games are only available in English, but my licensing partners, MOB Vanguard, have multiple conversations going on with foreign publishers interested in licensing the games in their language.  The games will be going to Essen with MOB and I'm hoping to share news soon.

CuseCon:

CuseCon is a local gaming convention in Syracuse, NY.  It runs from 9/19-9/21. This will be Galen's Games 3rd year attending as a vendor, 5th overall for me personally. I had really hoped to have the games in time for it and for Local Pick-Up, but it is looking extremely unlikely that will happen.  Still, I'll be showing them off, selling Super Snipers, and demoing the next series of games!  Hope to say hello to some of you there.

Local Pick-Up:

I will be starting the process of setting up a local event to celebrate the games launching and for folks to pick up the games.  More info soon!

Playtesting:

A publisher's work is never done, and I've been hard at work with the development and testing of all the games I'll be bringing out for the next Kickstarter in early 2026.  While I hope everyone will come back for the next one, 2 of the offerings should be of special interest to this wave of backers, expansions for Dice Clash and Mint-Tin Monster Mash-Up!

Soon (after CuseCon), I'll be setting up regular playtesting times to test out these and the other titles.  If you're not already, please join the Galen's Games Discord to help me out!  The games are all on TTS, but I need to get the rulebooks updated and in there before setting them free.  Solo Gamers: I could especially use some playtesters for the solo modes.

Here's a pic of one of the upcoming games that I was just playing teh solo mode of: That's an Order

Well, that's all for now.  I will do a quick update about the US fulfillment as soon as I have more info.

As always, I really appreciate your patience and support!

Galen.

Quick Update
8 months ago – Tue, Aug 19, 2025 at 07:26:49 AM

Hi all.  Just keeping everyone updated.  This update is for all non-US backers.

Good News:

The games have all arrived at Spiral Galaxy as of last Wednesday!

Less Good News:

The replacement dice for Dice Clash have been held up at Chinese Customs.  I'm told this should only take a couple of days to resolve.  I'm assured by Spiral Galaxy that they are ready to move quickly once the replacement dice arrive.

It's always something!  Thanks for your continued patience and hopefully my next update will include pictures of some of you receiving your games!

August 2025 Update.
9 months ago – Mon, Aug 11, 2025 at 08:50:31 AM

I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer!  I don't have a ton of updates this month, but I will share what I do have as well as some pics and stories from GenCon!

Timeline Updates:

Everyone except the US:  The boat with your games arrived at Felixtowne Port and is clearing customs.  The replacement dice should be arriving today or very soon.  Once everything is together, the Spiral Galaxy fulfillment team will be replacing the dice in the Dice Clash copies and starting fulfillment.  Keep an eye out for emails from them in the next couple of weeks. They are handling ALL fulfillment except for the Asia specific copies and the US copies.

United States:  The games really truly are on the water now!  No change in the estimate of them getting to Florida around 9/14-9/16 and into Quartermaster Logistics warehouse a couple days after that.  I will keep you updated.

Local Pick-Up:. There is a chance that I will have the games in time for CuseConand will be able to get them to backers there.  There's also a chance that I won't.  I'm still holding off on setting an exact date and event until timelines are more firm.

GenCon 2025!

Games at the Booth
Demoing at Wednesday Night's Trade Day Event

First and foremost, a huge thank you for your support in me selling the games at GenCon!  It made a huge difference in the bottom line and it was wonderful to meet some of you and show you what you'll be getting.

The games were HOT!  I brought 40 copies of each game and by the end of Friday I was completely sold out of Mint-Tin Monster Mash-Up as well as Verdant Arizona. By the middle of the day on Saturday, I sold out of all the mint tin games.  I even sold the demo copies!

The games were being demoed throughout the weekend and were well loved.  I had multiple people come back to the booth to rave about how much they enjoyed the games.  I can't wait for you to have them!

Super Snipersalso sold very well and I had multiple people come up who had previously purchased and played the game to tell me how much they loved it.  It's always surreal to be asked to sign my game for people!

Upcoming Games:

GenCon is also a great place to show off what's coming next!  I did playtests of 4 new Mint Tin Games that I'm developing for my next Kickstarter!

That's an Order!
Hard Drive
Mint Mechs
Kickabout

It might be too early to say this, but based on the reception of these games and the number of people who came to the booth to ask about them, I've got a good feeling about this batch exceeding the success of the current one!  Every game performed very well and all my playtesters were very interested in eventually owning them.

I got a lot of useful feedback and there are some definite changes and updates I will be making to each of the titles.  Overall though, the core of each game felt rock solid and ready to go!

Out of all the FEPH tests, I think Mint Mechs was my favorite to run.  I'm biased, as it is the one game out of the bunch that is my design.  It was so gratifying to see players pick up the rules and the strategy quickly and have a great time with the game.  This one is heavier than the others and has no art yet, so I was a bit worried about how it would fare.  I walked away very confident in the state of the game (again, a few changes and updates to test).

If you're interested in being on the mailing list to stay updated on the next series, you can sign up here.   If you're currently on my mailing list for this series, you don't need to!

GenCon was amazing but exhausting!  I still don't feel fully recovered.

That's all for now.  I will update you again in September.  Sooner if there is news to share!
